Hi Lichess Team, I noticed a minor British/American English spelling inconsistency on the Contact page.
Location: https://kleb.3dgraphingcalculator.org/contact#help-monetize
Inconsistency: The section header uses British English, but the body text uses American English.
Header: "Monetising Lichess" Body Text: "We are not interested in any way of monetizing Lichess."
Since the site's source code generally defaults to American English, changing the header to "Monetizing Lichess" would make the page consistent.

The section header uses British English
If my language is English, I see the problem. But with English (US) it is consistent.

So really the problem is actually the text not the title

Thanks for reporting ...
Yes, it's an issue in the text (not the header)
This section is not yet translated and should be in English English

Since the site's source code generally defaults to American English, changing the header to "Monetizing Lichess" would make the page consistent.
It's the other way around, the source code is in British/International English, but the website serves the en-US translation by default if the user has not set a preference for what type of en they want. This also means that fallback strings in other languages are in British English.
So it should be changed to "monetising" to be consistent with other strings.
Edit: looks like it has been fixed so it is consistent.

When a fix merged in the codebase, you need a server restart or/and an asset refresh to see it online: https://kleb.3dgraphingcalculator.org/source
Chatgpt:
Both monetising and monetizing are correct—they differ only by regional spelling.
Monetising — British, Canadian, Australian, and other Commonwealth English (uses -ise).
Monetizing — American English (uses -ize).
In Canadian English, both -ise and -ize are accepted by many style guides, but usage varies:
Many Canadian publications and organizations prefer -ize (e.g., monetizing, organize, realize).
Others, especially those following British conventions, use -ise.
The key is to be consistent throughout your document.
Examples:
Canadian/British style: "The company is monetising its content."
American style: "The company is monetizing its content."
If you're writing for a specific audience or publication, it's worth following their preferred style guide.
