Do you guys like playing on the Lichess app or the web version better?

I switch between the website and the mobile app depending on the situation.

Web without doubt. The app to me is limited and awkward.

I use the app for moving hope chess pieces around, but obviously have to use the 'webb' for forums. :D
Yepp, Halloween reference there. :D

I think the web version is better. There are no forums in the app, and it seems to have fewer bugs on the web too ;p

Using a phone to play chess has never worked for me.

As soon as I pick up a phone, somebody seems to call to tell me that I've been selected to receive a free "vacation package" and that all I have to do to get it is to preview some "properties" or "time shares" that they are just sure I'll find interesting!

Or perhaps I'll find a text from some number in a completely different country, sent by somebody who acts like they know me well -- who asks if I'm home from work yet. Makes me wonder -- how did I gain so many close friends in so many countries I've never visited?

I used to even get lovely emails from princes that I've never met, offering me a fortune to just help out with a little problem! How did they know I'm such a good problem solver? Unfortunately, for them, I guess, I prefer to solve problems over a chess board rather than by working with somebody else's financial conundrums.

Boy, perhaps I've missed out on SO many surprising, even "princely," opportunities by choosing to play chess, instead of interacting with unsolicited invitations from foreign strangers!

On the other hand, playing at chess doesn't require me to spend my ever-dwindling and admittedly modest resources. And chess is fun -- especially chess on such a wonderful chess site as Lichess has become!

Furthermore, my chess play usually doesn't cause the spaniel to roll his eyes, unless it goes on too long and cuts into his walk time or postpones his appointed time to get a daily dog treat.
