"I completely agree with choosing the web version. Playing on a computer browser feels much smoother, especially when it comes to dragging pieces quickly and accurate premoving. The new mobile app is nice, but for competitive games, the web interface always offers better stability and a better view of the board."

Depends on the situation. I don't have a mouse for my computer, so sometimes fast games get a lil annoying. And actually even on my phone, I just go to lichess through the browser.
