What Is The Best Era Of Lichess Forum Discussions?

Kitsune9Tails

Sometimes, Lichess Forums are fun and I stay, other times I just skip the forums and go straight to the study community instead because they get boring. Recently, it feels like it is leaning on the boring side again.

But what is the best time for forums? I heard early 2026 started off great and summer 2026 kind of sucked. Now autumn is mid in my opinion.

This is my new account, so I am asking the current still chatting oldies (Ok, I'll find a better nickname... LATER) @NeuralGnat, @Noflaps, @Dukedog, @JonSnow1998, @CSKA_Moscou. If you guys were in the forum community for a long time, was there a time when forums were the best? Or are they always mid?

THIS account isn't old but I will say, my favorite "era" was the @K#$d_p@nda incident and the forums split into two sides, the horses, and the pandas. The beef was real lol.

I'm honestly exited for what (@)Noflaps has to say. Got to get some popcorn.

I try not to think about these meta issues; I'm just here for the laughs.

I suspect it might be roughly a sine wave function. Maybe we could model it with fast fourier transforms...

I do not understand your point, and I do not know what you mean by ":doh-horse:"
I never said ".. best .. best time .. mid .. era .. boring .." Are you just reading off of random words in my post? If you want to state a point, make it clearer, unless this is a joke, but I do not think it is.
